Introduction

Capture Your “Elevator” Pitch in 60-90 Seconds

The Frame Concepts Value Proposition Animation solution was originally made to capture the “elevator” pitch in 60-90 seconds and is still its most popular application. By leveraging the artwork developed by an information designer and than coupling with a business animation and voiceover with music, our clients can easily control that “ah-hah” moment just before the call-to-action.

Increase Engagement with Your Visitors

The combination of provocative visual animation with a very tempting play button ups the engagement factor considerably and visitor can come to terms with the value of your company and approach quickly. However they have certainly found a home with our research-based clients to tease out the important findings and key recommendations in an engaging movie file.

Business Purpose

Differentiate Your Approach

Because the 60-90 seconds is so short (that’s why they are so viewable) we usually recommend using them for a high-level value proposition pitch, differentiating your approach as a whole from the usual suspects. Our clients like to drive the following business goals with the animation solution:

  • Distilling Your Value Quickly – you only get a minute for the proverbial elevator pitch and you want to showcase value as soon as they press the play button.
  • Complex Content Simplification – a relaxing voice combined with simple visuals set in an entertaining animation makes understanding easy.
  • Address Your Audiences Concerns – with a well-written voiceover script you can address top of the mind points quickly.
  • Increase the Viral Factor – Social channels users like to share informative and entertaining visual content and long scrolling blogs do not help. And YouTube requires video.
  • Increase Engagement – A very provocative image with a huge play button is very tempting to click.

SAP wanted to showcase how an integrated approach to data management can drive a business’s bottom line while leverage custom research it had sponsored with IDG Enterprise Research division. To bring IDG’s research to life, Frame Concept’s came up with a research-based that tells the editor’s story making clever use a fishing analogy throughout. While this sample breaks the 60-90 second rule, it also shows that comprehensive research with an educated audience benefit from information design integrated with a compelling animation.

HP leverage sponsored research from IDG Enterprise Research group to help its audience appreciate the finer points of taking on client virtualization in the enterprise. In a bit of production twist, Frame Concepts actually started with an infographic that told the journey story in a print form and then converted the infographic into a live animation. The two play off nicely from each other and can be used in different applications to reinforce the same message.

Continuing with the Data Management Series (see above), SAP with IDG’s research showcases how data siloes and unstructured data and big data concerns can influence one’s ability to effectively manage an enterprise’s analogy. In this case a traffic analogy leveraging road ways and winding paths and traffic congestion to make the visual point at hand.
